From documentary photographs of the performance Rehearsal, 1997. The artist sits before a small audience. By her feet is a container filled with live maggots. She takes a handful and places them in her mouth. She appears to swallow. After a minute, she opens her mouth. Live flies, emerge from her mouth, and fly away.
